Shaping materials ranging from the large to the invisible, using 4 techniques

Where traditional techniques (milling, turning, etc.) aree inadequate or inappropriate, electron discharge machining enables complex shapes to be made, and metals can be cut out or drilled with extreme precision, to the nearest thousandth of a millimetre.

Wire EDM
Mecasoft has nine machines for using the wire EDM process.
These machines are capable of handling parts ranging from a few grams to 2000 kg, with dimensions of up to 1100 mm x 1000 mm. Maximum cutting height is 406 mm.

Ram EDM
With four machines, Mecasoft can use the ram EDM technique on parts measuring 900 x 700 mm and a height of 400 mm.
The contours can be shaped in 3D.

Drilling
With its two drilling machines, Mecasoft has the technology necessary to drill all metal materials.
Drilling can be as deep as 300 mm, to a diameter of between 0.25 to 2 mm.

Micro EDM
Built around an ultra-precise microgenerator, the three techniques associated with this machine are combined and allow machining of parts that may even be so small that they are invisible.
